Natalie has extensive experience leading and developing interactive tours and workshops at a wide range of different cultural organisations. She founded Backstage Theatre Tours to increase research, dialogue and advocacy in this field. She is also available for public speaking, talks and workshops for conferences, seminars, after-dinner and more. She also runs entertaining theatre and wine talks and tastings!

Natalie has a First in Modern Drama and English from Brunel University and formed the performance art company Plethora who specialised in creating site-specific work in spaces from Bankside to the Chimes Shopping Centre. She went on to study for an MA Shakespearean Studies at King's College, London and the Globe Theatre, where her research focussed on the modern Globe audience culminating in her dissertation Audience Interaction and Distraction in Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
After working in widening participation and outreach throughout her BA and MA studies, Natalie went on to work in the education department at Shakespeare's Globe, co-ordinating visits for more than 10,000 learners every year and leading theatre tours for groups from KS2 children right up to PhD students. She spent several years as Education Manager for London at English Heritage looking after all formal and informal learning activity at the 10 London region properties and gaining prestigious Sandford awards for excellence in heritage learning at Apsley House and Eltham Palace. She developed and led interactive cross-curricular workshops at several properties and contributed to the learning sections of the successful 'Caring for Kenwood' HLF project. Most recently, Natalie was part of the Tours and Visiting team at the National Theatre, leading a range of interactive theatre tours, costume tours and architecture tours for a huge variety of groups and individuals from all over the world.
